The Old Deanston Workers Cottage

Amazing stay, will hopefully be back! Positive: Really cosy place. Stayed here with a friend as part of a road trip around Scotland and it was our favourite stay. The living area was perfect for hanging out in. It featured a wood burner which was very nice, especially with a whisky in hand. The beds were comfy, bathroom clean and kitchen was well equipped. Finally, parking was plentiful outside. I'd recommend visitors book a distillery tour at Deanston if this is of interest as it is a short walk away. Negative: There are few local amenities within walking distance. There was a local bus but we relied on our car.

Positive: Ein wunderschön renoviertes Cottage, unweit von Doune Castle. Sehr geschmackvoll im "industrial style" eingerichtet, top ausgestattete Küche, schönes neues Bad, ein Kamin, der bestens funktioniert hat. Wir waren rundum begeistert - und eine Mini-Flasche Deanston-Whisky (die Destillerie ist gleich ums Eck!) gab es zur Begrüßung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder - danke an Ben und Olli!

Pleasant stay with plenty of history. Positive: Picturesque little unit, river out the back, pleasant walkable area. Bus easily into Stirling at end of road. Negative: Nothing

Wyjątkowe i gustowne mieszkanie w cudnej lokalizacji Positive: Cudowne miejsce, rewelacyjnie wyposażone i przygotowane pod każdym względem. Wygodne łóżka, przytulny salon, w kuchni wszystko co potrzeba. Do tego ten widok z okien i świetna okolica. Negative: Szkoda że byliśmy tak krótko

Very nice place and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Positive: Very cozy apartment. Awesome to have washer and dryer available so we didn’t need to pack so many clothes. Walks along the nearby river were nice. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The whole place was very clean and nice with comfortable beds. Negative: Only slight and very small negative is the height of the bathtub to get in. For older people that may be an issue. But it is clean and has great pressure.
